IIn this lesson,children were able to follow the instructions given on how to make our own Pattachitra painting. First of all, it is necessary to discuss the borders, which where being utilized in these paintings. Pattachitra artists are very keen to add a boundary around their picture. It is also important to note that these borders define certain stories and give the artwork its balance.
Then in yesterday’s lesson we discussed the forms. Pattachitra’s paintings depict the scenes from the mythological clip of India, people, & animals, & nature. The characters depicted on this artwork have the disproportionately large and elaborate eye shapes, and the costumes as well.
Lastly, we shall use natural colours, just like all traditional Pattachitra artists did. They also put colors dig out from flowers, leaves and minerals which transformed the paintings into a radiant painted.
