Art With Senses

Including sensory experiences in young children’s art instruction is a great method to get them interested in learning. In my experience as a teacher, allowing students to experience art via their senses fosters their creativity and comprehension—especially those between the ages of 3.5 and 5. Children are inherently curious and eager to explore their surroundings when they are this age. We may take advantage of their natural inclination to learn through touch, sight, and even smell by using sensory art and craft activities.

Young toddlers learn about colors and forms through sensory art experiences, but they also gain critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. We equip our children for a lifelong appreciation of art and learning by developing a curriculum that places a strong emphasis on creativity and exploration.
